Here's Lola grooming Aidan. She must've thought that he needed a bath. Actually he did! Look at his dirty face!

Yay, we got Tivo!! I watched All My Children at 2 p.m. today. It's so awesome. Now we don't have to miss any of our favorite shows. Thank you, Beez, for making it all happen!

Last Sunday, October 2, was our 18th boyfriend/girlfriend anniversary. Can you believe that? 1987 was so long ago. We didn't do anything special. However, we did go with my Mom to look at two potential condos and today she just found out that her offer was accepted on the one she really wanted. It seems to be a safe area because it's a gated complex and it's close to the bus stop. Another Yay!

And yet another Yay! goes out to my friend, Beverly, and her hubby, Rod, because she gave birth to her baby girl, Malia, on Oct. 2.

When is my baby girl coming???? I'd like it to be now just because I'm having such a hard time getting around but hopefully not 'til after the 14th because we're dealing with a post-spayed kitty. Poor Lola has to wear her e-collar all the time because we don't want to her to lick her sutures. She's been a trooper but I feel so sorry for her when she bumps into things with her collar. She can't have it off until her vet checks her out on the 14th. I told Aidan that she got an operation to take her parts out that make babies. And at first he was excited. He said, "Wah! I didn't know cats could have babies! I want a girl!" I had to tell him again that Lola can't have babies and then he got sad. I think I would've liked to see Lola have babies too.
