C'mon, Contractions!
Well, as you all know, I'm due this Wednesday. Allan and I just came from my doctor's appt. and I asked what's going to happen if I go past my due date. He says nonchalantly, "If you don't have the baby by Wednesday, just come in on Thursday morning. We're open at 7:30 a.m., no appointment necessary. Then we'll check you in at the hospital."
Now I've been feeling like I'm ready to have my baby and she really could come at any time now, but having the doctor tell us that I would be induced on Thursday if she doesn't come on her own was a big shocker to me. I almost blurted out, "Are you serious??!!" Now I'm feeling really anxious, moreso about having to be induced than anything else. Waaah! But no matter what, my baby is going to be here this week!
