I don't like waking up at 10 a.m. but I have such a hard time sleeping at night. I tried to go to bed at 10:30 p.m. last night but then I had to get up several times to go to the bathroom and it just ruined my rhythm. This morning Aidan woke up before me and he always likes being close and he'll hug me around my neck. But he won't stay still! He'll turn around, put his leg over me, touch my ears...and I'm still so sleepy. Then I feel the baby moving around in my belly and she's pushing and squirming and I'm thinking, "Wow. I've got two little beings trying to wake me up."

Then I finally make it downstairs and Allan jokingly tells me (although I know it's his true feelings :) that I should be waking up earlier and making breakfast for everyone. If I did that I think we'd be alot fatter because then we wouldn't be eating cereal as often as we do now. I think the occasional Filipino breakfast is fine, but everyday wouldn't be good.

Well, at least it's only the beginning of summer vacation. We still have time to change our habits (at least mine!) because in two months we'll have to begin waking up everyday at 6 a.m. and then we'll have the extra challenge of dealing with baby while getting Aidan ready for school. I know that we'll have to start living on a schedule and it has to be done, like it or not. So for now I'm thankful I can live a life of leisure. Pretty soon these days will be gone!
