Here are two pics from Gigi and Michael's beautiful wedding! My hair is short but maybe that's not the problem! I think my heftiness is the root of my woes. I'd look soooo much better if I was 30 pounds lighter! But, oh well, I can't do anything about that until after October and that's OK. My weight issues are the least on my mind right now. But look at Gigi! She was so pretty that day and we are so happy for her!

Aidan's "birthday party" in his class is on June 1 because their last day of class is June 13, before his actual birthday. So I was made to volunteer on that day (not that I wouldn't have anyway) and I'm planning to make cupcakes. I've never baked a cupcake in my life so I hope they turn out OK. And then I have to buy favors to give out. I'm sure it'll all be fun. Aidan's real birthday party is going to be on Saturday, June 25. We were thinking at first that we would have it at Chuck E. Cheese's but I think there'll be more adults at his party than kids. I'm also not too fond of CEC either. It should be fun here at home though. We're getting a big bouncer/slide combo this time. I hope it won't be too hot.

My appointment last Friday (the 13th) was OK. It took them almost 40 minutes past my appointment time to call me. Then they drew my blood for the AFP test. First on my left arm but that didn't work so I had to get poked on my other arm (on which I now have a big bruise). I swear those ladies at that office make me so upset when it comes to drawing blood. I hope that was the last time. Then the doctor listened to the baby's heartbeat and I was so surprised she found it right away! That means the baby's bigger! And I told her of some complaints that I have this time around and she assured me that it would all go away once I'm pregnant no more. My ultrasound appt. is on June 3 and I'm hoping that we'll be able to find out if "baby sister" is really a sister!
