Aidan's been sick for the past three days with a terrible flu. He's been coughing non-stop and it seems he's only started feeling a little better now. I don't want him to miss school tomorrow since his class is having a Valentine's Day party and he has his Valentines to give out. I know he wouldn't want to miss it so I hope he'll get even better after tonight's sleep.

I just started feeling sickly this morning. I have a sore throat and I've been feeling really lethargic. So much for exercising. Something always happens when I get on a roll.

Yesterday was a foodfest! Around lunchtime we picked up my Mom so she could go with us to dinner to celebrate Mom Guray's birthday. Well, my Mom said someone recommends this one Japanese restaurant (Domo Sushi) across from Mt. Sac and we go with the thoughts of having a "light" lunch. Both Allan and my Mom order a Beef Teriyaki and Tempura combo. I ordered a baked roll which was a california roll with salmon on top and drizzled with the sweet, brown sauce (don't know what it's called). It was soooo good. I also got a taste of the beef teriyaki and it was awesome. We'll definitely eat there again.

Then for dinner Mom and Dad Guray, us and my Mom and Lee and Marie went to Caspian Persian Restaurant at Irvine. The restaurant was too dimly lit in my opinion but the food was really good. Lee ordered a combination appetizer which included the best hummus I ever tasted and eggplant borani which was also yummy. Eggplant is one of my favorites. Allan ordered a lamb shish kabob and I had a combo chicken and steak shish kabob. The plates came with a huge amount of basmati rice. For dessert we had baklava which was really exotic tasting, I think because of the rosewater in it. My tummy was so full after that and I was planning to work it off today but I guess it's not happening since I'm sick :(
