Aidan got his first phone call from a friend today! It was his "best friend" and classmate, Matthew. It was so cute because he was so happy to talk to him. Matthew asked him what his address was and before they hung up Aidan told him that he hopes they will get to visit each other soon. They always talk about when they're going to visit each other's house and Aidan says when Matthew comes over they'll have a snack party. It's just hard to find some time for them to do that but one day I'm sure it'll happen. I'm glad that Aidan has a best friend. When I volunteer in his class I always see he and Matthew playing together. And Matthew's Mom tells me that too. She says that Matthew also says that Aidan is his best friend.

Sometimes we bring Aidan to the Kids' Club at our gym and he always tell us, "Mommy, exercise for an hour because I want to play for a long time." Haha! At first I couldn't do an hour but I can now. He once told me that he was going to try to make lots of friends there and he does make friends every time. Usually they're not the same kids but I guess that's OK. He's got to be braver since he doesn't have a sibling or cousin by his side all the time.
