With our indoor/outdoor Christmas decorating done, we can now savor this month. I don't know about Allan but it's my favorite time of the year. I like watching our Christmas tree and, tonight when Aidan turned on its lights, we all sang Jingle Bells (plus, Aidan's fave, the Batman version) and Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer. Aidan doesn't think his Mommy and Daddy are crazy at all! He was dancing along as we sang very badly.

I've been doing most of my shopping online too so we're almost done with gifts! Just a few more presents to go. For some reason, I haven't had the gumption or the energy to deal with going to the mall. I'd rather go after Christmas!

Today, Allan decided to drive Aidan to school because he was worried about our minivan's tires. So as we were driving back home, we were listening to Ryan Seacrest and he announced it was time for the birthday game. The month was November so I told Allan that he should call. Turns out he was dialing the wrong area code and we listened to the caller they picked. He was from Chino and we were sad because we just came from there. So he won $1000 just for having his birthday in November. Then Ryan says, "For $10,000, is your birthday on November 26?" Aaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! That was Allan's chance! He could've won 10 G's! What a bummer. He usually never gets to listen to the radio and today of all days when he was listening he could've won. Sheesh.
