This past week has been chock full o' stuff...just busy stuff...stuff that's made me headache-y and tired. I thought that Aidan being only in preschool wouldn't entail that much work from me but this week has proved me wrong. On Wednesday I did two things: I brought in the "healthy snack" for Aidan's class and I also volunteered to help out in the classroom. Aidan was so excited that I was there and I was so excited to finally see what my boy did at school. And guess what...it was mostly playing! But I think the biggest emphasis they're teaching preschoolers is being able to follow directions. From what I could tell, Aidan is doing really well. He has two friends that he always plays with and all the kids in his class are really nice.

Then there was random stuff to do like our family portrait, grocery shopping, shopping for and putting together a shoebox toiletry gift for the homeless (for Aidan's school), being at Aidan's class Christmas party today... There's more to the list but the one thing that's missing is exercise! I keep wanting to start but for the past three days I've been having terrible migraines. Maybe it's due to the weird weather. It's been unusually sunny and extremely windy. I don't know, but Tylenol has been able to put a stop to my headaches so I'm just trying to keep a happy attitude. I'm trying not to furrow my brow because that's where the headaches usually start.

Tomorrow is another day of shopping. I want to be done already. I hate to say it but I'm tired of shopping! I'm at the point now where I want it to be Christmas already. Gifts are nice but I think this year I'm really going to take the time and contemplate on the true meaning of Christmas.
