Allan wants me to start playing Warcraft because he thinks I'd like it. I'm not really a computer gamer (more of a Nintendo fan really), but I know if I started playing Warcraft I'd probably get into it. The only problem is that it's so involved. It's like living an alternate life in cyberspace and I don't think I can spend my time doing that. I'm happy to just play an hour of Mario Party with Aidan.

So what would I like to do more with the time that I do have? I'm trying to change my routine. I'd like to sleep earlier and get up at the crack of dawn. I want to be a morning person.

Allan and I went back to the gym today and it gave me a really good feeling. We walked for a mile on the treadmill. I'd like to continue that and to one day get to the point where I can say that I'm commited to going the gym and spending that time for my mind and body. The good thing is that I can go when Aidan's at school and that being a routine hopefully working out will be also.

Another thing I want to do more is read books. I spend alot of time reading due to my numerous magazine subscriptions, but it's different from getting lost in a good book. I miss that. So, I purchased two books to add to my library: The Alchemist by Paul Coelho and Isolde by Rosalind Miles. The Alchemist is an international bestseller and I want to read it to be inspired. A quote from the book goes, "To realize one's destiny is a person's only obligation." My second pick, Isolde, is a telling of the Tristan and Isolde story and I chose it because I love the combination of historical fiction and bittersweet love stories. I'm familiar with this story but I was attracted to the book after reading an excerpt from it.
