Hello, all! I know I haven't been consistent in writing. We're having work done in our loft area which will eventually be my office/studio and I've been displaced from my comfortable environment until the construction is finished. I've got a little more than a week to wait and right now I'm limited to the laptop Allan set up for me in the living room. I'm not used to working on a little laptop and I miss my flatscreen monitor and my "favorites" list.

It's a good thing my wonderful hubby got me a consolation present to tide me over. We went and bought the new 20 GB iPod (only $279 at Costco!) and it spent its first few days sitting on our coffee table unopened because we were trying to decide which one of us would be its keeper. Well, knowing how Allan loves having the latest and greatest and because he works so hard for us to have all these cool gadgets, the new iPod is his and has been renamed "Cursor". To my benefit, I've been handed down his slightly-scuffed 3G 15 GB iPod. Still cool. We went to Fry's today and bought covers for them both. Allan helped me clear out his old stuff on my 'Pod and I spent the last two hours copying all my songs to iTunes and making my playlists....so fun!!

Aidan didn't have school yesterday and that was good because my poor baby is sick again. Lots of coughing. I hate it when he's sick but he runs around the house as if nothing was wrong. I bought him his costume! He's going to be Robin from Teen Titans. They'll be having a Halloween party at school on the Friday before Halloween and he'll be able to dress up. I'm sure he'll have lots of fun that day.

I can't believe all this rain. At first I couldn't wait until wintertime, but now it just feels so gloomy.
