Happy 8th Anniversary to us!
...and to 17 years of being together. I love you, best friend!

We're always amazed at how long we've known each other because it's pretty much the same as how long we've been together. We've been blessed to have such a happy life with our little boy.

For my birthday last Sunday we ate dimsum at House of Louie, but even though their food is always good this time the service was unusually slow. I guess that doesn't matter because we all went away full. For presents, my Mom had gotten me a big plumeria plant two weeks ago (and I'm eagerly awaiting its first blooms). Then as an anniversary present she got Allan and me an electric ice shaver and halo-halo fixings. We used it last night and it was awesome! Thanks, Mom! Jonathan and Jeff got us DVD's of the complete history of the Lakers. Thanks! Lee and Marie got me a big box of truffles, including limited edition ones, from Godiva! Thanks, guys! I'm going to be good and just have one a day although I noticed that a few have been pilfered from the stash! Truffle-nappers! Allan's Mom and Dad got me my mango birthday cake from Goldilocks and Mom also gave me a sparkly, pretty hand-made bracelet. Thank you! It was unusually hot that day but remember how I've been itching to go to Sephora? Allan decided to oblige me and we trekked it out to the Mission Viejo mall. It was our first time there and it was really nice! I ended up buying Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Coco perfume...very vanilla and I think it's perfect for winter. And I also bought a Stila lip pot in Amande. Thank you, Beez and Aidan. Love you!
