Sometimes I wish I could spend a whole week locked up in a Sephora store trying on and sniffing everything in sight. I don't know why I'm feeling this way now. It's not like I ever get dressed up for anything anymore and, even when I go out, I rarely put on make-up. I think the girly-girl in me wants to get out. I remember the old days in SF...a trip to Nordstrom's to buy yet another shade of MAC lipstick...hop on the Muni to Sephora to buy my favorite Vincent Longo lip gloss...passing through Neiman's to buy Fresh soaps and perfume...switching from Lancome to Stila to Bobbi Brown...all because I had to have it and I had a job to pay for everything! These days it's Dove, Oil of Olay and I get my lip gloss fix by buying every flavor of Smackers. I love these drugstore brands though and even if I had the money I don't think I'd ever again spend $40 on a jar of Lancome moisturizer. Still...I wish there was a Sephora nearby just so I could be surrounded by all the beauty products! I don't even have to buy anything! I just want to try the new Stila lip pots and sniff Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Abricot...
