Not much happening in the homefront. Aidan's birthday is less than a month away and I'm keeping my mind busy with party planning. I'm excited because this year it's going to be at our house. Our first big shindig and I'm hoping we'll have enough room since the plan is to keep all the food inside due to the mosquitoes and flies. I just noticed a big concentration of bugs around our patio cover. They just sit there mocking me. Dumb bugs. Allan and I are devising ways to keep them away from here on party day, which BTW is Saturday, June 19. Anyway, the theme this year is "Mario Party" as in Super Mario. Aidan just loves Super Mario and he has to play it everyday. Unfortunately I can't find any Mario party supplies. I'm just going to have to be creative.

Yesterday, we went to the parents' orientation at St. Margaret-Mary preschool. We got to find out how Aidan's day will be spent and we bought him his uniform (red shirt, gray shorts). We're so excited but I know that I'm going to be one of those nervous, bawling Moms. School starts in September! Aidan's growing up so fast but I'm so fortunate that I get to spend everyday with him.
