    FRIDAY! GOODY GOODY!
Gosh, I seriously want an iPod. I was debating between the mini iPod and the 15 GB one and, for $50 more, I think the 15 GB iPod is the better deal. This little thing (but also cute, sleek, and shiny) that plays music will cost $299 (free shipping at Amazon.com). I've got $50 from selling one of my LeSportsac bags on eBay! $249 to go! I know I could hit up Allan for this because he wants one just as much as I do but I'm on a "let's go dutch" kick and I feel the need to make some money this year. We'll see.

Next month, I'll be registering Aidan for preschool at St. Margaret Mary in Chino. There were other places we researched like the Montessori school in Chino Hills. Their method of teaching was that teachers play an "unobtrusive" role and it seemed that the students learned through self discovery (at least that's what I assume from reading their website) because they choose what they want to work on and for how long. I guess we're "old school" and we just don't understand that. St. Margaret Mary is a Catholic school and, since this is just preschool, what I want for Aidan right now is to be around other children and to learn how to be in a school environment. I'm not worried about how he is academically because I think he's a little more advanced than other kids his age. He can already count to 30 by himself, knows all his colors and shapes, and he can even write some letters on his own. As much as I want him to stay as my tiny little boy, I can't wait to see how he'll be in school. It's so exciting!
