Well, I finally finished it. I wanted to put fringe on it but since I was running low on yarn I decided to use what I had left to add on length instead. I'm so proud of myself.

Oh, speaking of barfing (Gigi!), last night I had the worst, I mean absolutely worst case of indigestion ever. My pains were so bad. They felt like contractions because they'd happen every couple of minutes and they'd build up right under my ribs like something was grabbing my intestines and then twisting them around. Finally after an hour I vomited. Allan went out at 1 a.m. trying to find me Maalox and once I took it I was able to go to sleep soundly. I don't know what happened but I read that spicy foods will do that to you and the night before I had super-spicy green curry. I hope this never happens to me again.

Update on my Dad: We visited him yesterday and still there's no change. According to the doctors he is comatose. He will open his eyes and move his head sometimes. For the two hours that we were there, I didn't see him move any other part of his body and I don't think he has since his last stroke. But they say he is breathing well and they're going to wean him off the respirator. He's looking better but, as the doctors are saying, we have to take it one day at a time.
