Since Aidan was just over a year old, he's loved playing with cars. He's into it even more since we got him a brand new Hot Wheels Starter Set for Christmas. Four hundred dollars of Thomas stuff sits in our living room/exercise room/playroom hardly noticed. Other than the HW toy, he just likes to gather a bunch of his cars and roll them across the floor, eventually crashing on the walls and leaving little black marks. I'm kind of lenient with him about that because I don't want to ruin his fun, except when the cars hit the dining table and chairs and then I tell him something.

So for Aidan these days, it alternates between the cars, the Nintendo and his laptop. For some reason too he doesn't like to go outside as much. But today I'm going to take him out for a walk. Sometimes you just have to force them out the door, you know.

Update on my Dad: It's not looking too good although the doctor says that his blood pressure and other vital signs are stable. This morning he vomited, most likely due to his fever which hasn't gone away. The nurse told my Mom that he might have pneumonia. My Mom saw him today too and said that his hands are really swollen. I think about my Dad every night, especially when instead I should be sleeping. It's so hard when there is absolutely nothing we can do.

Well, have a good weekend everyone and, for some, a good three-day weekend. I hope we get at least one project done (the garage, Beez!).
