    what's your favorite robot?

Aidan doesn't seem to care about Thomas The Tank Engine anymore. It's all about robots. Not only does he have robot toys but he'll turn anything into a robot - forks, slippers, his comb, whatever! Everything has flipping-power potential. He still loves Hot Wheels but they too can become robots and he makes up fanciful and silly robot names for them like "Rip It Rip It". And Robot Wars is on three times a day and I can't help but indulge him! Most of the time he'll watch it once a day but depending if he's awake he can watch it twice a day. I just love to see him get so excited. And he's learned a lot of new words from watching the show. One time he turned to me and asked, "Mommy, what does "destructive mayhem" mean? :)

    Meet Sir Killalot:

Another recent Aidan development is that he likes to play "karate". Well, he says he's exercising but he'll jump around while punching and kicking and then he'll stop and do a pose. I have to get it on video! Allan and I were thinking of looking into this karate school at Chino Hills because their ad said they have classes for 3 year olds. We'll see. Oh! And another thing that I'm extremely proud about is that I can give Aidan a word, any simple word, and he can tell me what letter it starts with by sounding it out! He's so smart! I gotta bust out the camcorder tomorrow!! OK, bye!!
