    Get that pig tongue!

I enjoyed watching Fear Factor tonight! We don't usually watch the show but for some reason it intrigued me. Would you be able to bob for five pig tongues while they were immersed in a vat of raw ostrich egg, eat one pig tongue and then wash it down with five blood-sucking leeches? Whoa! I almost hurled! Better stop thinking about it...

My back and hip hurts from shoveling. This is our current house project:

This is in our frontyard, an area of about 8'x12'. It had 3 inches deep of ugly, woodsy mulch and we just finished scooping it all out. We're trying to make this area look like this picture I found in my Filipino Style book and we've still got to deal with slate tile and pea gravel. I'll show you how it looks when we finish. I'm crossing my fingers that it'll turn out well.

Two days ago, Aidan and I were just hanging around and I was saying words like "happy" and "mad" and we would make our expressions match the word. When it was Aidan's turn to say words he said, "How about "miserable"! "Jealous"!" I asked him how he knew those words and he said he learned them from Blue's Clues. Yay, Joe! I guess TV can be good for something!
