Hee hee...I don't know if I can say that Aidan being only three has ambitions but he told me today in his own words that he's going to be "the champion of the world". He has a competitive spirit but because he's only three he wants to win at everything! Everything meaning going up or down the stairs, eating, drinking, playing with his robots and HotWheels, sitting down in the car... It's so important for him to be the winner that he cries when we don't let him win. What I tell him is that if he wants to be the winner, he has to be the one to try the hardest and even then sometimes he won't win. I know that this is just another phase but we still have to teach him about not being a sore loser. Allan and I tell him that if he loses he should shake hands with the winner and say "Congratulations" or "Good job." I do enjoy seeing him wanting to be someone great though and I hope to keep nurturing the fact that he should be proud of himself no matter what.

My site feels lonely without pictures so here's some. It's Aidan's old and new camera faces. In the last few months it's been "scary eyes" (left) and his current one is aptly named "meanie" (right). No, he's not really mad!
