Lucky, lucky me...I have two plumeria paintings to do. I just finished one of the sketches but I'm sitting here in front of my computer just feeling like wilting away. I don't feel like doing anything right now. No energy whatsoever. Maybe I'm feeling anxious about our move. We're signing the docs on Thursday and getting our keys Friday. I know we're not moving far but, still, it's going to take some time to get used to. I'm longing for the day when I feel that we're finally settled and we're not having to look ahead to the next whatever that might come our way.

We checked out the house last Saturday night and saw that one of our next door neighbors was moving in. We think they're Hispanic and maybe an extended family because they have the biggest house plan. I just hope everyone is nice. I was so comfortable with all our neighbors at our last house and I hope we get lucky again and meet some good people.

We had a good 4th of July too. Aidan was even more excited this year about the fireworks. It's worth it just to hear him squeal with laughter and say "One more. One more." over and over. He had to get a blood test today and he was so brave. I knew he wanted to cry but he was really trying to stop himself. No tears and thank goodness his next shots are a whole year away. I think he's had enough of needles.
