I'm feeling so lucky again! I just finished my two commissioned paintings and my client paid me this afternoon. She's so super-duper-nice and I can only wish that all of my art-related experiences turn out as positive! But, hmmm, you know what this means?! My paintings have gone up in value! Plus now I have a better feeling of how much I can charge. Allan did the calculations and, for the two paintings, my rate ended up at around $16/hour. Sounds like alot but that's small beans compared to established artists who can charge $100/hr or more. Maybe, just maybe, I'll make it there...someday.... It also made me think "What would I do without the Internet?" Don't you agree? Through eBay I've connected, if even briefly, with so many people in different parts of the world! And even with just family! Look how easy it is for us to stay in touch! It's so amazing and I'm so thankful that I live in this time.
