You know how when something gets in your blood and you can't let it go? Painting is that way for me now. When I think of an image I'd like to paint, I feel like I have to start right then and there. Before I fall asleep, my mind is busy wondering "what else can I paint?" It's similar to when I first got hooked on eBay. But now I think I have to put other things before painting, mainly losing weight. Why is it that the things I like to do end up being bad for me? Painting means sitting on my butt for hours. Same with surfing the web and watching movies. Reading means lying in bed for hours. And because I'm doing the things I like and not exercising, eating means everything I gobble up gets me fatter. I really do have to make time for exercising. I just have to get into the groove... Well here's my latest. This might be it for a while, at least 'til September and then I can let myself go again. It's another close-up of a rose, but it's not everything since the canvas is too big for my scanner. Happy Friday, everyone, and Happy Mother's Day to all the Mommies! See you on Saturday, May and June!
