    more eBay stuff

I was just looking up gift certificates on eBay and I'm thinking that there are many fools in this world. For example, somebody's selling off their $50 gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse and what do you think the bid is up to? $47.00!! What's up with that? Does someone actually think that because they have this certificate that they'll be eating there for free? No! They paid $47 plus the cost of shipping the certificates out to them. Doh!

Anyway, I've got six items up for bid with three days left. Four of them have bidders and I've got high hopes with the other two since I've been e-mailed with questions about them. One of my items is a lot of 3 scrapbook magazines. The subscription to those was 6 magazines/yr for $19.95. After I've sold them, my subscription actually only cost me less than $5! I already got my use out of them and it's so great to be able to sell them instead of sending them to the trash. I think the proceeds this time will go to Aidan's toddler bed fund. We put his crib mattress next to our bed and he was really excited about sleeping on it, but since he still likes to hold hands with me to go to sleep the mattress on the floor is too low. We found a nice bed at toys 'r us for $80 dollars and hopefully my eBay stuff can pay for half of it.

Hope everyone is doing well out there!
