    more pee-pee

Aidan has such an independent streak. Yesterday I was in Allan's office and he ran to me and said, "Mommy, I have to go to the bathroom!" So I ran after him, but he turned around and said, "No, don't follow me. You stay in the office. I'll do it byyyyyyy myyyyyySELF." So I hid behind the wall and spied on him. He pulled his stool in front of the toilet, took off his pants and underwear, stepped up carefully on the stool, and I winced as he tried to make it in the bowl. I walked in after he was done and told him he did such a great job even though he missed and that there's still things he needs me to help him with even though he's such a good boy. He agreed but that still didn't stop him from dancing around for five minutes while I sat on the bathroom floor pleading with him to put his pants back on. After that it was "Wash hands! Wash hands! I want to use the yellow soap, not the apple soap."

Oh, and it's been three days that Aidan's pull-ups have been dry throughout the night. I'm wondering whether I should just forgo the pull-ups, but I'm afraid to. Maybe if it lasts for an entire week, then it'll be OK.

We just rented "Trapped" (Charlize Theron, Kevin Bacon) and it was worth the viewing price. It kept Allan awake and that's saying alot. As for "Undercover Brother", Allan didn't make it past the first ten minutes.
