    Friday Five

    1. What is your favorite type of literature to read (magazine, newspaper, novels, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)?
I like magazines, newspaper, novels and poetry. If it has words on it, I'll likely read it.

    2. What is your favorite novel?
I don't have one favorite novel, but there are many that I love. You can find them under the "favorite things" link.

    3. Do you have a favorite poem? (Share it!)
Again, I don't have one favorite poem. I collect all the poems (and even song lyrics which I consider poetry) that I like. In high school, however, my favorite was Algernon Charles Swinburne's A Forsaken Garden. It's too long for me to put here.

    4. What is one thing you've always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read?
All of Shakespeare's plays. I have this huge book but I haven't touched it since I bought it so many years ago.

    5. What are you currently reading?
I haven't found any new interesting books. I'm on the lookout.

This weekend I want to try getting Aidan to sleep on his own bed, meaning it's time to get a toddler bed. He still sleeps with me but I'm having such a hard time because somehow he always pushes me to the edge of the bed and also there's only so many accidents that the bed can take before I start getting really grossed out. How do you get the pee smell out of a mattress? If anyone knows. please tell me! Febreeze doesn't cut it! Aidan has only had a couple of accidents but it's enough. I could put a waterproof sheet under him but he moves around too much. With a crib-size mattress, they make a waterproof sheet that can cover the whole mattress. I don't know how willing Aidan will be to sleep on his own bed because I'm his security blanket. Actually, it's just my right earlobe. He has to be touching it all the time. Oh, btw, Aidan has graduated to big boy toothpaste! He likes it that he brushes his teeth like me. Spit! When we shopped for his new toothpaste, there were several character designs to choose from but he picked Spongebob. And another thing, he's so into robots right now - the fighting robots!
