    NEWSFLASH!!!

Aidan pooped in the toilet for the first time today! Yay!

(I wonder what he'll think later if he finds out that I've broadcasted about his poop on the Internet. I can picture it now...

    "Awww, Mom, that's gross!"

"But, Sweetie, I was just so proud of you! Just be happy I didn't post a picture!")

Anyway, he's far from being potty-trained and I'm trying to cut down on the pressure. I read that children can be totally put off when there's too much pressure and I could see that Aidan wasn't liking being asked every 10 minutes if he had to go to the bathroom. Today he had three bathroom trips, two of which were successful. I'm also trying to make it more fun for him. I sit on the floor and we play hiding games with the shower curtain or sing songs. This way is also better for me too because I was getting very irritable trying guess when it was going to happen. I don't think he knows yet when he has to go, but with each trip I think he's learning how his body feels when it's time.

Some news about Allan and me? Well, not much. We're just waiting for our house to be built. We have a tentative vacation planned in September for Oahu. Hope everything's going well with everyone.
