Aidan's Tita Melissa came over today and he was so happy to see her. He was laughing and dancing and was so excited. I definitely think Aidan needs a playmate. Allan and I were even thinking that maybe we should send him to some sort of school/daycare just so he can be with children his age, not just Mommy who sometimes just doesn't want to play crash the Hot Wheels cars on the cold cement driveway. It was perfect when we lived at our old house. Our next door neighbors had a son who was only 2 months older than Aidan and they played outside together almost every day. It's too bad we moved. Now that Aidan's getting older, it's become much more important that he interacts with other kids. It's also a bit unfortunate that he's the only baby in the family right now, no cousins to play with. There's some days when I worry about him because I think he's getting bored with doing the same old things at home.

Well at least today he had some fun. Melissa helped me make tartlets from her Mom's recipe. Aidan got to sprinkle nuts and place the cherries on them, but not without eating about a third of the cherries. Then he helped set the table by placing the forks and spoons on each plate. He really liked that.
