hooray for eBay!

I just received the payment for my very first item sold on eBay. It's so cool! I sold a bag that I bought and changed my mind about and ,without eBay, this bag would probably just be sitting in my closet for years to come. It actually sold for only $5 less than I bought it, which is great! I didn't expect much for a bag without its tags, but four people bid on it. I have two other items: one with payment pending and one I just listed yesterday that already has a bidder. I only have one more item left to sell so I'm scouring my stash of stuff for something hopefully someone else will want.

Listing an item on eBay is simple. Take a good picture of it (eBay posts one picture for free), write up a detailed description, figure out what forms of payment you are willing to take, and figure out your shipping charges. I looked at other listings that would be similar to mine for pointers on how to word my descriptions. Believe me, if you have something good to sell, you should try eBay first! Now I have to go. I need to take a picture of that bicycle hanging in the garage...
