AFLAC!

hmmm....what is it that i don't like about ben affleck? i just don't understand how he can be taken as a serious actor when he lacks the talent for it. i can describe him with one word: bleh! what were they thinking when they casted him as young jack ryan? he was so dorky. he talked to the most powerful people in the world as if they were his drinking buddies. couldn't they have chosen someone else, someone better like...matt damon!! i'm looking forward, by the way, to watching him kick butt on the bourne identity. these days it seems like all the actors have to learn martial arts. back in the old days it was singing and dancing. now it's how well you can deliver a karate chop. that's ok though because i like that kind of stuff.

it's aidan's birthday this saturday and the preparations are under way. we've invited alot of people again (but less than last year) which means the biggest focus is on the grub. i just want my baby to have a good time and for all of our friends to have an enjoyable afternoon. i can't believe it'll be two years since he was born. sometimes he looks big to me and other times he looks small. i'm glad i can still carry him around because it feels so good when he's near me.

one more thing...i felt kind of bad on father's day that we really didn't do anything special. aidan and i made a card for daddy but that was it. for dinner we had islands hamburgers but it wasn't like a special celebration or anything. i wish we could've done more.
